Three's Company

This past May was a memorable month for the Pianfetti family. Lucas was born - right on his due date, May 2 - and we closed on a new, bigger house a few days later. May was spent packing and then June was spent unpacking. But, I convinced myself it was well worth it. We needed more space. We had outgrown our Applewood home and need to be in a house that would let us grow and breathe. We needed a house that didn't have all the kids sleeping in one bedroom. In our old home, Matthew, Emme and Nicholas shared one bedroom, while Lucas had a room as the nursery. We wanted a house where at the very least Matthew and Emme could have their own room. And we found that home.

Emme couldn't wait to be in her own bedroom. A bedroom complete with new furniture thanks to Yiayia and Pappou and princess decorations. She LOVED her room. She would fall asleep amidst that princess covers with her stuffed animals positioned just so all around her - crowning our little princess. Nicholas, too, LOVED his new room. A room that he shared with Lucas. His furniture, again compliments of Yiayia and Pappou, was perfect for the boys - bunk beds that could separate in twin beds. Matthew of course was in heaven with a room to himself. He hung his "Camper of the Week" award on his wall along with his spiderman picture. It was his room to do as he wished .... with in reason, of course!

A few weeks ago, we had guest stay with us. We gave them Matthew's room with allowed for an extra bed from his trundle. It worked great for the guests and Matthew was fine sleeping on the floor in our bedroom. That was four weeks ago. And since then -
